Tag & Cozy Book Hop

One of the best gifts my son has received was a Tag system. Of course as a book lover, I found this to be a great gift right off the bat. Now that my second is older and demanding some extra attention the Tag has found it's way back into our daily lives.

This great toy reads to my older son. Yes reads. And I like this because yes it is an electronic toy, but there is no screen. It works with books. Perfect aid to help with reading and enjoying books when mommy just can't sit for another thirty minutes to read (don't get the wrong idea, my boys get lots of actual old fashioned book reading time also).

I also enjoy this tool because there is the option to play interactive games with the books - like finding objects from earlier in the book, or looking for characters. Plus as my son gets older and better at reading, it can be used to help with the occasional word he doesn't know. All good ways to really use books.

Yes it is more expensive than a regular book, but there are sales, we only need a few. Plus we have found some great books that work on handwriting and such, so this toy will grow with us - what a great gift!

Time for another Cozy Book Hop. As colder weather approaches I'm making my list of books longer, I always dream of having tons of extra time in the winter to read, doesn't really happen, but still!
