Zoo Babies & Cozy Book Hop

Wow did this week fly by, I guess it's just that time of year- the time goes by so quickly... anyway, sorry for the late post.

My youngest has just recently started to flip through books on his own. He hasn't shown an interest in books much at all until now. So I'm loving it when I walk around the corner to double check on him and he's still sitting there, crossed-leg flipping through a book just enjoying life.

He has gotten into Zoo Babies in the past week, and I mean what little kid doesn't love to look at books with animals in it? I have yet to meet one.

What makes this book so fun is that each animal has a little action circle. Have you seen these? As you move the page to turn it, the picture moves, the faster you move the page the more real the animation seems. It's very fascinating, and can hold little one attention even longer than the average board book. There are a bunch of these type of books out there, I believe they are sometimes called animotion books - I highly suggest getting one from the library just to see how your small children interact with them.
