Then others started to enjoy what I had to say about what I was reading, and suddenly I was blogging for others as well as myself.
And to receive an award for this, it's such a blessing!
So...
Thank you Kera from Nugget on a Budget, for thinking of my little blog for the Liebster award!

Here goes:
Five random facts about myself:
1. There is a foot and half height difference between me and my husband - I am short! However most people are surprised by the actual difference because I love to wear heels.
2. I like to drive fast, super fast - I mean that is why I use a car to get to where I'm going fast - and yet I haven't gotten a ticket... of course now it seems like I'm tempting Murphy...
3. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up (but I guess I already grew up...) - it's a good thing my husband is so relaxed about my ever changing dreams!
4. I love music - in fact I've spent many hours trying to find a way to incorporate more music into this blog...
5. I would be a student forever if school wasn't so expensive! That goes back to my dreams forever changing and not knowing what I want to be!
Questions from Kera:
1. Who was your favorite athlete in the London 2012 Olympics and why?
I didn't pay as much attention to the Olympics this year as my mommy role has been wearing my out greatly, but I'd go with Gabby Douglas because her smile and energy are so contagious, and I really think that is what little girls need as role models.
2. In the past year, what was the most expensive item that you splurged on?
Wow - I've been trying super hard to get out of debt, so there haven't been many splurges... however as part of my ever changing goals, it looks like a super expensive camera is in my very near future... hope that counts
3. What is you favorite place to visit in the United States and why?
This is so hard for me! I love to go places, Disney world is way up on my list - I'm a dreamer, and it fits me - however Topsail NC, is a gorgeous beach, and it's super relaxing, so right now that might be the top spot.
4. If you attended college, what did you major in? If not, what made you choose the job that you currently have? (Oh, and being a stay-at-home mom IS a job!)
I graduated with an English degree and was a proofreader for a while - only after becoming a mommy the second time did I begin my SAHM career. I don't think working full time is in my near future as being a mommy is my job for now.
5. Why did you decide to start a blog? (Yes I know repeat question, but you have to admit it's interesting!)
I believe this is how I started this post... so I'm sticking with that
